Pocket Pilot Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pocket Pilot ("Pocket Pilot", "we", "us", or "our"), including our mobile app, backend services, and related features (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1) Eligibility and Account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2) Description of Service
The Service may include:
- Account authentication (including email/password, optional Google Sign-In, and OTP-based verification).
- Transaction and budget tracking features.
- Receipt scanning and OCR extraction workflows.
- Emergency fund, watchlist, and stock trade logging features.
- AI-generated savings suggestions and market/idea insights.
- Optional local notifications and reminders.
3) Financial and AI Disclaimer
- All financial content in the Service is for general informational and educational purposes only.
- AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
- You should independently verify information before acting on it.
- You remain solely responsible for your financial decisions and outcomes.
4) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading activities.
- Interfere with security, integrity, or operation of the Service.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service beyond permitted use.
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
5) Your Content and Data
- You retain ownership of the information and content you submit to the Service.

Pocket Pilot relies on third-party providers (including infrastructure, auth, AI, email, and market-data services). Your use of third-party integrations may be subject to those providers’ terms and policies.

- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8) Termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time.

- Sections that by nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
9) Disclaimer of Warranties

10) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pocket Pilot and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
11) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pocket Pilot and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Service operator is based, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your region.
13) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
